Lean Startup: practical methodology to fail less

·1 min read

What is Lean Startup

Eric Ries popularized this approach that prioritizes learning over guessing. The build-measure-learn cycle is the heart: launch something small, measure results, decide whether to pivot or persevere.

An MVP is not an incomplete product

An MVP is the simplest version that can generate validated learning. It can be a video, a landing page, or a prototype. You're not looking for perfection, you're looking for data.

The feedback loop

Build fast, measure with actionable metrics (not vanity), learn, and repeat. Each cycle should take days, not months. If you didn't learn something new, the cycle was wasted.

Pivoting is not failure

Pivoting means changing direction while keeping accumulated learning. You can pivot your audience, your solution, your revenue model, or your distribution channel.

Innovation accounting

Define clear metrics: activation rate, week 1 and week 4 retention, revenue per user. These numbers objectively tell you whether your product is progressing.

At Vynta we design digital products using agile and Lean methodologies. We help you go from idea to validated product without wasting time.
